MIHO NOBUZANE jazz pianist / keyboardist /composer / vocalist
Born in Osaka Japan, a versatile musician Miho Nobuzane began studying piano at the age of four. After studying classical piano, her passion for jazz & Brazilian jazz changed her musical journey. Before coming to New York City, she was fortuned to meet & frequently perform with many renowned jazz musicians from US. After she moved to New York City, she quickly became a distinguished figure in the Brazilian jazz scene. Subsequently, she diversified into various music genres.
Miho has collaborated with legendary musicians including Bernard Purdie, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, Bakithi Kumalo, Filo Machado, Paula Lima, Nanny Assis, and many more. Miho has performed at iconic venues like Blue Note NY, Iridium NY, Long Beach Jazz Festival, and internationally in Brazil, Hawaii, and Japan.
Miho’s two albums — Make You Happy and Simple Words ~Jazz loves Brazil —showcase her incredible talent as both a composer and performer.
In March 2024, the song “Ponteio” from Miho’s 2nd album was released on the British label “Z Records” ’s compilation album,”Jazz Dance Fusion 4”.
In June 2024, Miho went on a Japan tour with Bernard Purdie, performed eight sold out shows at Billboard-Live Tokyo, Yokohama, & Osaka. The band received standing ovations at all of the shows.
